New Pool Rules from County Health Department

We have just received word from the county health department - the proposed rule changes outlined in the recent HOA newsletter have now been officially adopted and are in force for every public pool in the county (including ours).

SO - that means, absolutely NO children under 3 in the pool without swim diapers AND rubber pants that touch the body at both the legs and the waist.

Also, NO changing diapers at the side of the pool or on the pool deck - please use the wooden bench or a towel on the grassy area.

If you are at the pool and there is an accident involving fecal matter contaminating the pool water, please contact our CPO (Certified Pool Operator), Cheryl Glassett, immediately so that she can begin cleanup protocol.  Her number will be posted on the pump house door.

Important Homeowner Meeting

The executive committee has scheduled a meeting for all homeowners on Tuesday, June 17th, at 7:00pm at the pool.

The meeting will be held to discuss and answer questions on the proposed dues increase and other pertinent financial matters.

We encourage all homeowners to attend this meeting, as your comments in this meeting will figure in to the committee's final decision regarding the dues increase.

Pool Reminders

Please be aware of the following pool rules:

NO regular diapers allowed, under any circumstances.  All children must be in swim diapers, and perferably with plastic/rubber outer pants covering the diaper.

NO bobby pins in the pool area.  They leave rust marks on our new plaster!

NO glass in the pool itself.  Please keep any glass containers on the grass area.

Please do not disturb the hose if it is filling the pool with water, and please do not allow children to play with it or pull it into the pool or below the water.

If you are at the pool on a Thursday evening, please be kind enough to pull the garbage can out to the curb so that it can be picked up on Friday morning.

New 2008-2009 Season Begins

The new fiscal year and pool season have now begun.  The pool is now open, daily from 10am to 10pm.  You will need new keys to access the pool.  To get a pool key, you will need to pay your 2008-2009 dues in full (currently $180).  Contact Betty Anderson (next door to the pool), Cheryl Glassett (our CPO - Certified Pool Operator) or Candi Cieslinski (Secretary/Treasurer, 685-9411) for keys.
